Chef Nick Mavroedakis draws on traditional Greek foundations and gives them a dash of contemporary flair. Take friends and go the whole hog with a meze platter for between R190 and R240. Alternatively, start with the brinjal and sweet potato salad and move on to a flamboyant main course of mussel saganaki, operatic with garlic, white wine and cream. To round off, order intense coffee and some fatally sweet, honey-saturated baklava.
